Product description:

HSS80 is a heat shrinkable sleeve designed to protect the anti-corrosion welding joints of steel pipes.

The product is fully compatible with factory-mounted pipeline coatings such as PE, PP, PU and FBE. The tape is suitable for use in environmental conditions where the coating temperature does not exceed +85°C.

The product is successfully used in the most important gas projects in Poland, Europe and the world.

Cheray Polymer type HSS80 system:

Substrate CP-1 – 100% solvent-free 2-component epoxy substrate
melting adhesive with high cutting strength
high density thermocompressive polyethylene coating with indicator of correct coating heating TIP* (**performing indicator on request)

ISO 21809-3, Type 14B

Special advantages:

The excellent formula of the epoxy substrate and the heat shrinkable strap allows for lowering the temperature of the preheating of the product pipe and strong bonding with PE, PP, PU and FBE coatings. At the same time, it provides complete resistance to cutting forces caused by soil and temperature changes
The highest resistance to erroneous currents and high temperatures provides an optimal barrier for long-term corrosion protection
Saves time and installation costs thanks to low preheating temperature (minimum 50°C) with a wet epoxy substrate
