PTEK DM is a dew point meter that allows testing to estimate the probability of condensation on the painted surface and determine whether the conditions at the workplace are suitable for coating or not.

The steel surface temperature should generally be at least 3°C higher than the dew point temperature during coating. Below this temperature, the dew point meter will turn on the alarm, and the display color will change to warn that the surface conditions are not suitable for the application.
