Product description:

REINFORCEKiT® PATCH is a durable reinforcement solution for damaged storage tanks and pressure tanks with internal and external corrosion defects.


This product is tailored for any repair and requires engineering and calculations according to CSA Z662, ISO 24.817 and ASME PCC-2/API 653.


REINFORCEKiT® PATCH consists of Kevlar® patch and two-component epoxy resin 3X. The dimensions and number of plates, type and quantity of resin will depend on the defect and will be determined using 3X software. The calculations are carried out by the technical department of AGCOR.

Application:
  • internal and external corrosion
  • repair of corrosion rods
  • hole, leak, crack
  • mechanical damage, clogging
  • restores the original integrity of the tank
  • strengthens the damaged area of the tank
  • prevents further corrosion or deterioration of the tank condition
The main advantages of the application:
  • designed in accordance with ISO 24.817 and ASME PCC-2/API 653
  • online repair (no decommissioning is required except leakage)
  • long-term repair (up to 20 years in case of external defect)
  • no limitations in the pressure and size of the defect
Application in areas:
  • on land and sea
  • all designs and sizes of tanks
  • all tubes sizes (without limitation)
  • operating temperature up to 150C
  • tanks with the most common fluids and gases
