REINFORCEKiT® 1D

Product description:

REINFORCEKiT® 1D (R1D) is a water-activated repair system spirally wrapped around the pipe to restore its original integrity without disabling. The system repairs and strengthens pipes exposed to corrosion and mechanical damage. This composite product is made of fiberglass and polyurethane resin.

REINFORCEKiT® 1D can also be used as a protection for coated pipes.

If reinforcement is used, the product should be used with a suitable filling and 3X substrate. The repair design and material requirements are provided by 3X software, in accordance with ISO 24.817 and ASME PCC-2. If the protection is applied, only the R1D tape is required. 3X recommends applying a minimum of 2 layers.
