SFP Composites GRS™ (glass fiber reinforcement system) is a composite system designed specifically for reinforcements of transmission pipelines and technology based on a crossing glass fiber mat and two-component epoxy resin. It was created by the development department of AGCOR GROUP as an effective repair solution for all types of damage to the pipeline wall (external, internal corrosion, deformation) and reinforcement of welded connections. The system is easy to apply and thanks to the use of a special epoxy mixture ensures fast bonding (full strength up to 24h).

Features and advantages of the system:

• Repairs with composite materials can be performed on pipelines in operation (no need to interrupt the transmission/technical process)
• The system extends the service life of the pipeline by up to 20 years – permanent or target repair
• Quick repair without the need to perform welding work
• Small weight compared to steel patches
• The possibility of individually adjusting the repair parameters (length of repair strap and number of layers) depending on the case study
